Sclerotherapy (Spider Vein Removal)
Sclerotherapy is a technique to remove unwanted spider veins from your legs. The procedure involves small amounts of a medicated solution injected directly into the tiny veins, causing them to shut down and be absorbed by the body. No anesthesia is necessary and treatments can take anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour. Our patients are seeing fantastic results and many have not needed additional treatments, a common complaint with other methods of vein removal. Some conditions that cause the veins to occur, such as heredity or frequent trauma, will require follow up treatments.
Botox Cosmetic
Nearly everyone knows about Botox® as a cosmetic remedy for fine lines and wrinkles on the face, but many are unaware that Botox® has been used safely for decades as a medical treatment for conditions like multiple sclerosis and other neuromuscular disorders. Botox® Cosmetic is a purified protein that, when injected in tiny amounts into specific facial muscles, causes those muscles to relax. This stops the progression of wrinkles and creases in the skin. The result is a more youthful, smoother face with a natural appearance
Dermal Fillers
While Botox® Cosmetic relaxes facial muscles and reduces the formation of fine lines and wrinkles, some of the deeper lines and creases around the mouth respond better to an a dermal filler, which fills in the lines and smoothes out creases. Dermal fillers are natural or synthesized substances that are injected under the skin to fill in the lines. Fillers can also be used on the lips to create a softer, more youthful appearance of the mouth. The right combination of Botox® Cosmetic and dermal fillers, such as Restylane, Cosmoderm, Cosmoplast, or Radiesse reduces the signs of aging and will help you retain a youthful, natural appearance.
